A planter designed by farmers for urban farming anywhere.
Osbert Lam, a world renowned urban farmer, partnered with urban farming enthusiasts Philip Pang and Ken Tang to design and build an urban farming system that enables everyone to farm anywhere at his or her own convenience. With a shared vision of making urban farming more sustainable and accessible, PlanterGo was born!

My journey of urban farming started with a few pots of basil that I bought from the flower market. Little did I know that a few more small planter boxes and bags of soil turned into a full blown rooftop garden at home with the help and advice from Osbert. We all became aware of the limitations of existing planter boxes in the market. We first started out meeting in groups imagining what the dream planter box should be, to cutting styrofoam mock-ups to actually testing working prototypes. Whether you are starting out as a weekend farmer or someone who is doing urban farming on a larger scale, we welcome you to this awesome urban farming movement.

Growing up in the countryside, I developed a love and appreciation for the beauty of nature. Living in the city with a demanding work environment, I had limited opportunities to have a garden due to space constraints. With the growing desire to be closer to nature and to grow my own vegetables, I took up urban farming on rooftops, which has been such a blessing. My vision is to make urban farming more accessible and sustainable so that more people can experience and enjoy it. With sustainable urban farming, I hope to increase local produce supply and reduce the farm to table distance in an urban environment.
